0315 ish, several flights from Hong Kong and Perth nearly 2 hours ahead of schedule.

When I lived near Heathrow on my last day, the day I moved a plane took off at 0215hrs. Flight restriction times are a beautiful work of fiction as you CLEARLY demonstrate!!!!!!!

Looking at Webtrak, I can't see that anything actually landed at Heathrow early before the usual culprits at 0430 onwards.Glancing at the Brentford noise monitor trace athttp://www.eans.net/Mess/Messwerte.php?R=640&S=001&D=28.05.2018&ZT=02I was surprised at how noticeable the peaks of overflying planes were between 0200 and 0345 (before the dawn chorus kicked in at 0355). I think these are overflying London on their way to Stansted (or maybe Luton).

flightradar app shows actual landing time as apposed to estimated.

Have you got the info for the flights before 0430 ? I can only find 6 late flights landing between midnight and 0044 before the usual 0430 flights : 00:09:56 AZ (IT)Alitalia FCO-LHR EI-DTK AZ 210 A320 M 27L00:12:55 BA (GB)British Airways EDI-LHR G-MEDM BA 1463 A321 M 27L00:19:46 BA (GB)British Airways OSL-LHR G-EUPJ BA 769 A319 M 27L00:22:37 BA (GB)British Airways NCE-LHR G-BNWX BA 349 B763 H 27L00:35:26 TK (TR)Turkish Airlines CGN-LHR TC-JTG TK 1987 A321 M 27L00:44:11 BA (GB)British Airways PSA-LHR G-EUXL BA 607 A321 M 27L04:31:22 BA (GB)British Airways HKG-LHR G-XLEC BA 032 A388 H 27L04:35:31 QF (AU)Eastern Australia Airlines PER-LHR VH-ZNCQF 009 B789 H 27L04:42:10 VS (GB)Virgin Atlantic Airways HKG-LHR G-VCRUVS 207 B789 H 27L04:50:30 BA (GB)British Airways HKG-LHR G-STBD BA 028 B77W H 27L
if you go to flightradar https://www.flightradar24.com/51.46,-0.5/10and go to the playback button on the right of the screen, set the time for 0315 you can track the planes landing, endless nerdy fun!
Thanks for the link - but flightradar24 operates in UTC = GMT. And so the first landing it shows (touching down at Heathrow at ~UTC 0330) is the "normal" first flight from Hong Kong at 0430 BST.
Interesting, doesn't quite fit with me being woken up at 03.30ish though.

looks like it was probably a delayed flight from Malaga to Stanstead, a bit low hence noisey!
Heathrow Community Relations I emailed them when I was woken by a pilot throttling his engines up very early one morning to ask who it was, why he did it and to complain.Standard reply of course about 'every consideration to local people', but they carry on as normal. I notice they like to pull out the 'we'll land planes through the night' threat every once in a while if they don't get what they want.

Sorry, with the email address:noise@heathrow.com
I love this post. All the evidence points to everything being normal. But on the other hand... I woke up in the night. Must be all the evidence is wrong.

People just do not want to acknowledge flights.
