235 ceased till further notice bus with terminate at county court no further information given.

I have been in touch with TfL and the GWQ site management. The bollard in GWQ has been damaged by a car (where did I hear that before?) so the buses cannot currently access. We are pressing them to fix it urgently, or to make alternative arrangements to allow the bus service to resume.

4 working days later and still no sign of it being fixed or even an alternative arrangement.Any updates Guy?

Almost a month after the original post and for about the 4th or 5th time this month there is no service to the GWQ.We get it back for a few days each time and then it goes again.It's all well and good getting the barrier fixed and service resuming - but it's just not reliable or good enough.When will something be done about this that will ensure an uninterrupted service?

The pop up barriers are apparently no longer made and they cannot get replacements, nor proper spares.Barratts, the landlords, will replace with a conventional barrier, which I believe is on order. In the meantime they have been doing temporary fixes. I didn't know it was down again, but will enquire as to progress.It's not a great consolation but at least they are doing their best to support the service. When we had the problem 3 years ago the bus was out for months.

Since the barrier first broke this time round 1st November it's lasted about 4 days in a row at best. Then it breaks, us fixed, 2 days later breaks, is fixed....you get the picture.How anyone is supposed to plan any travel is anyone's guess, let alone get to and from work or school.It's running again as i type, but may well be broken again by the time i post this.

The service to Great West Quarter has been suspended yet again due to "bollard issues". I was surprised to see when I passed GWQ this afternoon, that the bollard was permanently open with the green light on, and cars were entering the area freely and unchallenged.If every Tom, Dick and Harry can drive into the GWQ bus terminus, why can't the buses?

Since the last long break in service in around November it has rarely gone 2 weeks without a disruption to the service. It may only be a half day or day here and then but it's a disruption none the less. I am not exaggerating when i say this must be about the sixth break in service since November when we we're told about the new barrier being required.

I'm sure it is just coincidence that bus access can so easily by damage, and there's people living there who complain about the buses...
