Does anyone have any idea when this road is going to reopen please?

I was at a residents liason meeting a couple of weeks ago and they said they were going to put in an application to keep Lionel Rd shut for most of 2019.Construction schedules have slipped somewhat. They are now looking to open the stadium for the 20/21 season rather than the end of 2019.

I'd be glad if it never reopens given how dangerous it is to cross the station end.

I thought there was talk of a footbridge or at least some kind of pedestrian friendly crossing?

I would close it permanently but vehicle access will be needed to the Duffy site. Could be from the stadium side??
