I am wondering whether Ballymore's decision to use the boat at the centre of more than a decade of controversy and court actions following their arrival on the scene, as the subject of the High Street poster affirming their policy of engaging with the waterways, is unforeseen irony, or a nice gesture.Could be, of course, that it is just because it is the prettiest boat on the scene.

Gilly's boat, I live on it. It was rather amusing that it also appears as the first (B&W) poster at the entrance to the Ballymore visitor centre, which hosts their presentations to the public. I was chatting to their lady at the door after Saturday's 'meet & greet', and when she asked if I lived nearby, could say 'right behind you', and point to it.

p.s. right alongside, you will note, the little exhibition of Brentford curios including the 19thC Barlow rail slice. I would appreciate, however, people refraining from any comments as to apposite juxtapositioning.
