New Bridge and Lifts at Kew Bridge Station

This should have been done in 2020 when the new Stadium was being built.One of the companies involved could have done the work for about £1 million but Network Rail said no,now it will cost about £4/5 million.This is nothing new with any construction in this country what ever the price quoted + 2 or 3 times when it is finished

You are quite right although I suspect the deal between the council and Brentford FC that the stadium was a community planning gain limited the amount of section 106 money that was available for transport improvements.I have a memory from the time of the new station being entered from a broad concourse under the tracks by Lionel Road South - am I misremembering?

There's probably a ten thousand page risk assesment document that has to go before endless commitees before a spade is put in the ground.The Victorians would be ashamed of us will all the projects that have been messed up by process and inaction in this country.
