Desperate Plea (lost treasure)
Yesterday afternoon (Sat 25th July) in a fit of decluttering I put on Somerset Road, quite by accident, a significant piece of family lore. If, by some miracle, anyone here picked it up I would be forever in your debt if you would return it. It is a crude piece of folk art painting on cardboard (with a knackered frame) in a Van Gogh style. I would attach a pic if I could but not sure how to. It's predominantly bright turquoise blue and of a bedroom with a Van Gogh style bed and two chairs in yellow. I feel sick with the pain of having tossed it out so carelessly. It is not worth anything in terms of resale but it's of enormous sentimental value to us. I would give anything to get it back. Here's hoping the good people of TW8 can help. Thank you.
